AOC Embraces Comparison to Historical Figure Accused of Helping Nazis

AOC…

Recently, an excerpt from an upcoming book revealed that President Trump allegedly compared Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to Eva Perón, the former First Lady of Argentina who has been declared to be a Nazi sympathizer.

“I called her Eva Perón. I said, ‘That’s Eva Perón, that’s Evita,” the book claims Trump said upon witnessing Ocasio-Cortez.

Eva Perón, also known as “Evita,” helped usher in socialism to the Argentine economy, and has been described as having sympathy for former Nazis.

President Trump sat down with Tim for the book and in an interview he shares what his nickname for @AOC is:

Upon learning of the remark, Ocasio-Cortez took to social media to quote Perón, apparently unaware or unconcerned with her unscrupulous reputation in the US.

“I had watched for many years and seen how a few rich families held much of Argentina’s wealth and power in their hands. So the government brought in an eight hour working day, sickness pay and fair wages to give poor workers a fair go.”

Per Townhall, Eva Peron, known as Evita, was the second wife of President Juan Peron, and remains a national heroine almost 60 years after she died from cancer.

Hospitals, schools and orphanages were built in poor areas through a foundation she established and she was crucial to her husband’s popularity with the masses.

However, Mr Peron helped many Nazis fleeing Europe after the Second World War to find a safe haven in Argentina, including Adolf Eichmann and Josef Mengele.

… “It is still suspected that among her [Eva Peron’s] possessions, there were pieces of Nazi treasure, that came from rich Jewish families killed in concentration camps.

Per DailyWire, The Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) noted that Eva Perón“demagogued her way to a cult following among those who depended on the favors she dispensed and stepped on anyone who stood in her way. A law which obstructed her ambitions was, in her view, a law to be bent or broken. Any fair assessment of her must note that she delivered numerous vapid harangues and gave away lots of other people’s money, but she never invented, created or built anything.”

Needless to say, the controversial Congresswoman’s quote did not sit well with conservatives on social media.

Perhaps not the best nickname to embrace: the Peróns quite famously gave the Nazis safe haven in Argentina after WWII & likely enriched themselves by taking a cut of the ill-gotten gains the Nazis stole from the Jews & others and smuggled out of Germany.https://www.nytimes.com/2005/04/04/world/americas/halfcentury-later-a-new-look-at-argentinenazi-ties.html  https://twitter.com/aoc/status/1147930869904093184

Thank God she isn‘t smart enough to know she is stupid. The more she talks the less credibility she has which means the less likelihood she will can get reelected.

How can any American take being a Nazi sympathizer as being a compliment and sleep at night is beyond me. @AOC – she was thrust into the political lime light and not even knowing the history of our great nation or worse…to not even care. Unbelievable…….!!!
