Buttigieg gets air support in New Hampshire

VoteVets, which was founded in 2006 and backs Democratic veterans running for office, is the first outside group to go up on TV in support of Buttigieg, the former mayor of South Bend, Ind. It joins super PACs supporting Joe Biden and Deval Patrick on the airwaves right now, while other groups supported former candidates like Cory Booker and Jay Inslee in the past.

VoteVets differs from the others in that it does not focus on a single candidate — already this year, the group has aired TV ads in support of three Democratic Senate candidates. VoteVets PAC endorsed Buttigieg in December, the first time the group has ever weighed in during a Democratic presidential primary.
