Pelosi Agrees That Tara Reade’s Sexual Assault Allegation Is Now A ‘Closed Issue’: “Joe Biden Is Joe”

While appearing for an interview on MSNBC, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi agreed that she now views Tara Reade’s sexual assault allegation against Joe Biden as a “closed issue”, and that she isn’t going to “answer’ questions about it again.

Pelosi made the remarks after Biden publicly addressed Reade’s allegation last Friday, where he said that he didn’t commit the offense described by his former staffer nor does he “remember” her ever filing a complaint against him in 1993, despite corroborations to her story.

In regards to Biden publicly denying the assault, Ari Melber asked Speaker Pelosi, “Now that he has given that answer, do you view this as a closed issue?”

“Well it is for me,” Pelosi replied. “I had said I am proud to support Joe Biden for President. I believed him when he said it didn’t happen, but I also believe him when he said ‘Let them look into the records’ and that’s what they should do.”

“But I’m not going to answer these questions again,” she added. “I will just say I have every confidence that Joe Biden will be a great President of the United States, not only because the person of integrity that he is, but the person of vision that he is.”

Then after naming some of Biden’s political stances that she agrees with, Pelosi said, “Joe Biden is Joe, and again he brings those values and his personal experience to a vision for America that is about fairness and not trickle-down economics.” Video Below
