An unscientific online poll by the popular Drudge Report website showed Marianne Williamson as the clear runaway winner of the first Democrat debate in late July.
At the time of this publication, Williamson has garnered 47.17% of the vote, with Delaney coming in 2nd place with 11.58% and Warren and Sanders trailing far behind.
Beto O’Rourke comes in dead last.
Since DrudgeReport has a significant conservative following, one could possibly conclude the results were skewed by those responding to the poll in a trolling manner.
On the other hand, Williamson also was #1 on top Google searches during the debate, so clearly her impact was real.
