LeBron Sides With China, Says There are “Ramifications for the Negative” That Come with Free Speech

Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey caused a stir when he tweeted “Fight for Freedom. Stand with Hong Kong.”

Rockets owner then tried to clean up the mess and avoid offending the Chinese by tweeting “Listen….@dmorey

Now Lebron appears to have sided squarely with China, making the argument that with freedom of speech comes many negatives and ramifications.

“We all talk about this freedom of speech, yes, we all do have freedom of speech but at times there are ramifications for the negative that can happen when you’re not thinking about others and you’re only thinking about yourself.”
