Appearing on “Face the Nation,” Ilhan Omar was asked to directly explain her 9/11 comments and respond to the criticism of Nicholar Haros, Jr, whose mom was killed during the tragic attacks.
Haro spoke out about Omar during a recent emotional speech during a Ground Zero remembrance event. “Today I am here to respond to you exactly who did what to whom. Madam, objectively speaking, we know who and what was done. There is no uncertainty about that. Why you’re confusion?”
“I certainly could not understand the weight of the pain that the victims of the families of 9/11 must feel,” @IlhanMN says, but we should also remember that many Americans had “their civil rights stripped from them” in the wake of the attacks. pic.twitter.com/m6LbX3i2DG

RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel did not buy Ilhan Omar’s explanation and took to Twitter to criticize her.
Nearly 3,000 Americans were killed by terrorists on 9/11.
It shouldn’t be this difficult for Ilhan Omar to understand why her “some people did something” comment was so offensive.
