Twice failed Democratic presidential candidate and former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, will endorse Joe Biden’s presidential candidacy on Tuesday, PBS Newshour reported.
Clinton is expected to announce her support in a virtual town hall with Biden on Tuesday. Former President Bill Clinton has not yet publicly endorsed Biden.
Clinton will be the “special guest” at a Biden virtual town hall on Tuesday afternoon. The Biden campaign said the guest would discuss the impact that coronavirus has had on women, CNN reported.
Hillary Clinton took to Twitter on Tuesday before the virtual town hall and tweeted: “A little hint about who the surprise guest will be for @JoeBiden’s 3 pm ET town hall today: (She’s excited.)”, attaching a picture of herself with Biden and former President Barack Hussein Obama.
Trump 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale responded in a statement, saying Donald Trump beat Clinton “and now he’ll beat her chosen candidate”.
“There’s no greater concentration of Democrat establishment than @JoeBiden & @HillaryClinton together. Both carry baggage of decades in the DC swamp & both schemed to keep the Dem nomination from Bernie Sanders. @realDonaldTrump beat her once & now he’ll beat her chosen candidate,” Parscale tweeted Tuesday.
